An expense tracker built around your salary

Most trackers tell you what you spent. This one starts from what you were supposed to spend — your salary, split across five buckets on the day it lands — then shows every expense against it, day by day, category by category, month by month.

What it does

Ten seconds an entry

Date, bucket, category, amount, an optional note — that is the whole form. Today and Yesterday are one tap.

Recurring bills, once

Rent, SIPs, EMIs and subscriptions are set up once with a day of the month and added automatically from then on.

Charts that answer things

Where the money went, whether you are spending faster than the month allows, what the month is on course to end at, and how it compares with the last twelve.

Your own percentages

The 25-10-15-15-35 split is the default, not a rule. Change any of the five as long as they still add up to 100.

Five buckets, 45 categories

Investments, emergency fund, travel & car, lifestyle and household — each with the categories Indian households actually use, down to LPG, society maintenance and car EMIs.

Private, and free

Your figures sit in your own account and are never sold or shared. No paid plan is needed — the tracker is free, and any month exports to CSV.

How the tracker works

Three things to do once, and about ten seconds a day after that.

1

Enter your monthly salary

It is split 25-10-15-15-35 across investments, emergency fund, travel, lifestyle and household — change the percentages if that split does not suit you. The figure carries forward to later months until you change it.

2

Add your fixed bills as recurring

Rent, SIP, EMIs, insurance, school fees, subscriptions: set each one up once with the day of the month, and it is added on that date every month without you touching it.

3

Log what you spend, as you spend it

Pick the bucket and category, type the amount, done. Each bucket shows what is budgeted, what has gone and what is left, and the charts update as you go.

Frequently asked questions

Is this expense tracker free?
Yes. The tracker is free with a free account — there is no paid plan to unlock it, no limit on how many expenses you log, and any month can be exported to CSV.
Do I have to connect my bank account?
No, and you cannot. Nothing is linked to a bank, so there are no credentials to hand over and no read-only access to anyone else's system. You enter what you spend, which is also why cash, UPI from another bank and money someone else spent all get counted.
Can I use it for a currency other than rupees?
Yes — rupees, dollars, euros, pounds or dirhams. The amount formatting follows the currency you pick.
What if my salary is not the same every month?
Enter the amount you actually received for that month. The budget for each bucket is worked out from that month's figure, so a freelance month with a smaller invoice simply produces smaller budgets.
What are the five buckets?
Investments (25%), emergency fund (10%), travel and car (15%), lifestyle and personal (15%) and household (35%), with 45 categories between them — from SIPs and PPF to LPG, society maintenance, car EMIs and credit-card bills.
Can I change the 25-10-15-15-35 percentages?
Yes. Rent in a big city can take more than 35% on its own, and someone without a vehicle does not need 15% for travel. Set your own five numbers; the only rule is that they add up to 100.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It is a web page, so there is nothing to install — open it in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen if you want it one tap away.
Is my financial data private?
Your entries are stored in your own account, are visible only to you, and are never sold or shared. You can delete any entry, or export a month to CSV and keep your own copy.
